Van Groll is a seasoned veteran of the payment processing and financial services industry. He is a principal in Copia Capital, a Milwaukee-based venture capital firm specializing in the middle market. He served First Interstate Bank, Wisconsin as treasurer for a 5 years prior to its acquisition by Norwest (merged with Wells Fargo & Company in 1999), where he continued for an additional 5 years. Van Groll is on the board of several companies and has led the growth of Citation Management.
Smith is responsible for the daily operations of the company, and is personally responsible for the development of the company’s data processing centers that process more than 1.5 million parking, traffic and municipal citations annually. Smith joined Citation Management in 1998 as head of operations. Prior to joining Citation Management, Smith was a Project Manager, FieldTech and was responsible for new project setup, quality assurance and business systems design. Smith spent 15 years with the Wisconsin Gas Company in various management positions of increasing responsibility including Supervisor- Credit and Collection, Field Supervisor- Gas Diversion Control and Quality Management Analyst. The first 10 years of his career were spent in a variety of roles with the City of Glendale Police Department, Glendale, WI, including Patrolman, Patrol Supervisor and Detective. Smith served his country in Viet Nam and was a member of the US Army Reserve for 11 years.
Tonn is responsible for the financial, accounting and administrative functions of the Company. He is involved in determining the strategic direction of Professional Account Management and leads the development of a financial plan to execute that strategic initiative. Prior to joining Citation Management, he held various executive financial roles at Universal Companies (financial services and banking) and Joy Global, Inc. (formerly Harnischfeger Industries), Masters Gallery Food and McGladrey & Pullen.
Dunn is responsible for directing the daily operations of the collection and processing divisions of the company. Prior to joining Citation Management in 1995, Dunn served Wellington Investment Advisors as Portfolio Manager with responsibility for investment optimization, tax consulting and trust management for over 250 clients totaling $70,000,000. Prior, Dunn served Offerman and Company as Branch Manager.
Peiffer manages all of the company's systems and network. He provides technology support for 150+ user network. Prior to joining Citation Management, Peiffer was a Technical Consultant with Spectrum Technology, LLC, where he was responsible for designing, implementing and supporting small business networks. Peiffer also spent 4 years at KMC Stampings as a Market Specialist with sales duties. He has earned certifications from Microsoft, Oracle, Cisco and Citrix.
Haugsland is responsible for developing and implementing Citation Management’s sales and marketing strategic initiatives including business expansion strategy, market awareness, alliances and partnerships and client relationships. Haugsland has over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing management. He joined the Citation Management team in 2004. Prior to that he was employed by Johnson Controls where he was responsible for marketing bundled facility improvement offerings to state and local government. Before joining Johnson Controls, Haugsland was employed by Manpower Inc. for 19 years. As Director of National Accounts and Marketing Projects, he was responsible for developing and implementing outsourcing strategies for global accounts. Prior to that, Haugsland held several sales and management positions with IBM.
Zimmerman is responsible for the project implementation of new clients. He has over 30 years of experience and has held positions of Director of Business Support Services for a collections firm, Project Executive, Director and Project Manager for a number of transnational IT consulting firms, most recently Cap Gemini.
Given is responsible for major business development initiatives for Citation Management. He brings over 14 years of experience in all areas of citation processing outsourcing and collections. Ron was a citation processing subject matter expert with Affiliated Computer Services, State and Local Solutions for 5 years. He spent two years in Melbourne, Australia implementing a major citation processing contract and starting a successful outsourcing company, LMT Australia (now known as Tenix Solutions). Prior to that he worked for 7 years in a variety of project management and on-street enforcement consulting positions with Lockheed Martin IMS, serving municipal parking clients throughout the U.S. and Canada.
